Aspirus Langlade Hospital was founded by the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph in 1933 and is sponsored by Catholic Health International. The Corporate Members of the hospital are Aspirus, Inc. and the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph Health Corporation.
Aspirus Langlade Hospital is a 23-bed critical access, Joint Commission-accredited Catholic hospital serving a population of approximately 26,000 people.
The new facility opened in spring of 2012. The Hospital has more than 60,000 outpatient visits each year and offers much more than other Critical Care facilities including 3 operating rooms, a Birthing Center with 3 LDRP Rooms, the Volm Cancer Center, Dialysis Center, Neurology Clinic, Assisted Living Facilities and Childcare. The new Center for Health & Performance offers certified staff providing individual, evidence based training programs to reduce health risks and prevent/manage chronic illnesses. As a medically based fitness facility staff consult with physician advisers and promote exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle.

COMPLEXE DE L’ESPOIR
Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick
The Complexe de l’espoir is an affordable housing complex for women and children escaping domestic violence. The facility opened in May 2019 in Tracadie-Sheila and includes six second stage housing units, including four one-bedroom units for single women and two other apartments for women with children. The goal of this housing is to offer a safe environment to break the cycle of violence and regain independence.
FOYER NOTRE-DAME-DE-LOURDES
Bathurst, New Brunswick
Foyer Notre-Dame de Lourdes is a 130-bed nursing home, which was founded in 1974 by the Religious Hospitallers of Saint-Joseph. It is sponsored by Catholic Health International. The Board of Directors is made up of 12 members, including two members appointed by the Religious Hospitallers of Saint-Joseph.
Foyer Notre-Dame de Lourdes has a dementia unit specializing in care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, it includes a respite care bed for the region as well as a palliative care bed.
There is a Residents’ Council and programs are in place to promote health, safety and infection prevention. In the year 2000 a new facility was opened to replace existing building. The home has approximately 145 employees.
HÔPITAL DE L’ENFANT-JÉSUS RHSJ†

L’Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus was founded by the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph. It is owned and sponsored by Catholic Health International, and operated by Vitalité Health Network. An advisory committee is appointed by Catholic Health International to ensures the continuity of the mission.
L’Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus offers diagnostic services (medical imaging, laboratory, electrodiagnosis), therapeutic services (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, clinical nutrition, speech therapy and social services), and a walk-in clinic. Other clinical services include surgery, cardiology, medicine, gastroenterology, dermatology, urology, pediatrics and endocrinology, oncology, cervical cancer screening, influenza vaccine and mother-child. There are also services offered as a multidisciplinary team such as cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, diabetes management and pediatric development team.
HÔPITAL STELLA-MARIS-DE-KENT

L’Hôpital Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital was founded by the Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur. It is owned and sponsored by Catholic Health International, and operated by Vitalité Health Network. An Advisory Committee is appointed by and is accountable to Catholic Health International to ensures the continuity of the mission. The hospital provides emergency and primary health care services to a rural population of approximately 40,000 inhabitants in more than 22 francophone, Anglophone and Indigenous communities.
The health care team, in this 20 bed hospital, is made up of more than 10 physicians, 110 employees, a chaplain and over 20 volunteers. The population has access to a growing number of outpatient clinics. The hospital also offers therapeutic and diagnostic services. The Extra-Mural Program ensures continuity of care through home care services offered by a multidisciplinary team.

L’Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Joseph de Saint-Quentin was founded by the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph in April 1947. It is owned and sponsored by Catholic Health International, and operated by Vitalité Health Network. An Advisory Committee is appointed by and is accountable to Catholic Health International to ensures the continuity of the mission.
The hospital is currently a 6 bed acute care facility providing emergency services 24 hours a day. Specialists and other professionals from the Edmundston Regional Hospital visit the hospital regularly to provide ambulatory care services to the population.
HOTEL-DIEU GRACE HEALTHCARE

Originally founded in Windsor, Ontario in 1888 by the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph, Hotel Dieu grew to encompass the needs of the community and evolved into Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital through an affiliation agreement with the Salvation Army and their Grace Hospital.

Hotel Dieu Hospital is the ambulatory care teaching and research hospital for Kingston and Southeastern Ontario, affiliated with Queen’s University. MOUNT ST. JOSEPH

Mount St Joseph of Chatham, N.B. was founded by the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph in 1949. It is owned and sponsored by Catholic Health International. The building underwent major renovations and updating with the construction being completed in 2017. It operated as a Nursing Home until October 2019, when a new nursing home was opened in the area. The Board and Management have worked tirelessly to repurpose the facility. Currently on the first floor of Mount Saint Joseph are eighteen bed Memory Care Unit for those living with Alzheimer’s Disease or other related dementias. On second Floor there are eighteen 3G Beds. On the third floor of Mount Saint Joseph is a thirty bed nursing home scheduled to open in December 2023.
The fourth floor of Mount Saint Joseph is rented to Hospice Miramichi Inc.
LES OEUVRES DE L’HÔTEL-DIEU SAINT-JOSEPH

Les Oeuvres de l’Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Joseph (Résidence Hôtel-Dieu) is a seniors residential facility which 
offers a continuum of care and was founded by the Religious Hospitallers of Saint-Joseph in Saint-Basile New Brunswick. It is sponsored by Catholic Health International.
Originally a convent school for girls, the facility was founded in 1857 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint John to meet the educational needs of Madawaska, New
Brunswick. In 1873, seven Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph from Montreal arrived in Saint-Basile and replaced the Sisters of Charity, who had supervised the Académie du Madawaska from 1857 to 1873.
Today, a mixture of independent residents, residents with special needs and residents with Alzheimer’s disease occupy most of two wings of the Hôtel-Dieu. The remaining space is used for a chapel, a museum, foundation, library, dyslexia clinic and kindergarten organized and managed by lay people. The third wing contains the living quarters of the sisters and the infirmary.

As the result of a study conducted by the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph to determine the greatest unmet needs in the City of Kingston, and out of their need to exercise their ministry to attend to the sick and the poor, the Sisters began the Food Bank. Established in 1984, and incorporated as a registered charity in 1998, to meet basic unmet food needs in the City of Kingston (Ontario) and area.

There is a total of 59 apartments, a combination of one and two bedroom units, of which 47 are rent-geared-to-income and 12 are market rent units. 6 of the units are wheelchair modified. There is also a recreational/meeting space with a kitchenette, TV, gas fireplace, exercise equipment and wireless internet.
ROCMAURA NURSING HOME
Saint John, New Brunswick
Rocmaura Nursing Home was founded by the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception in 1972 and is owned and sponsored by Catholic Health International. Rocmaura is a loving home for 150 people, providing compassion and support for those who are unable to live in their own homes.
Rocmaura is divided into four (4) separate courts in a modular care model that focusses on the needs of those who live there. Each Court has their own dedicated staff and recreational programming. Trinity Court (24 bed dementia special needs unit), Garden Court (49 bed sister unit to Trinity Court), Terrace Court (48 bed physical care unit), and Hopewell Court (29 bed cognitively well unit).
With a particular focus on mission Rocmaura Nursing Home and St. Joseph’s Hospital share a Director of Mission funded by the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception.
ST. BERNARD HOSPITAL
Chicago, Illinois, USA
St. Bernard Hospital was founded in 1904 by the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph in Chicago, Illinois and it is sponsored by Catholic Health International. The acute care, safety-net hospital provides excellent healthcare and comprehensive wellness to the people of Chicago’s South Side underserved communities, regardless of their ability to pay, treating about 68,000 patients annually. The hospital has 174 licensed beds, and it earned two consecutive “A” grades for patient safety in 2023 from The Leapfrog Group.

St. Bernard opened its outpatient center in 2016, the 70,000-square-foot Ambulatory Care Center houses an Immediate Care Clinic, a dental clinic that serves patients with special needs, the Women’s Wellness Center, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging suite, and spacious medical offices for pediatricians and other specialists. Its Pediatric Mobile Health Unit, celebrating over 20 years of service, provides health screenings, free immunizations, medical and sports physicals to children throughout the city in partnership with the Chicago Public Schools, day care centers and Head Start programs.
Recognizing the needs of a growing segment of its patient population, St. Bernard is leading a collaboration to implement a series of programs for the Center for Better Aging. St. Joseph Community Health Centre (Dalhousie) was founded in 1953 by the Congrégation des Filles de Jésus. It is owned and sponsored by Catholic Health I
nternational, and operated by Vitalité Health Network. An Advisory Committee is appointed by and is accountable to Catholic Health International to ensures the continuity of the mission. In 2005 the facility changed its mandate to become a community health center.
The Saint-Joseph Community Health Center offers primary care services, promotion and prevention programs, chronic disease management as well as a community mobilization and development program. The facility continues to provide specialized ambulatory care and mobile clinics, 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week walk-in service supported by diagnostic services. An outreach community health center, which is located 40 km away from the community health center, offers family medicine and nursing services, diabetes education programs, nutrition counseling, public health and mental health and roving specialist services.

The Centre offers quality health care to residents of Cornwall and the Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre currently employs 300 people: 100 in Complex Continuing Care and 200 in Long-Term Care, and provides 59 CCC beds and 150 LTC beds. Upon completion of a capital redevelopment project in 2009, all services are now co-located on York Street in a new and bright facility.

Villa Saint-Joseph-du-Lac provides a high standard of care to the residents who make it their home. They were actively searching to purchase such expertise internationally. This company was formed for the purpose of delivering such expertise should it be the successful bidder for the contract, and to source other endeavours. It was hoped that this would lead to a means of financial support for the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph Health System which was providing administrative and other support for the Canonical Sponsor and for the Members of the Corporations so sponsored.
